Color - Soft, delicate salmon pink
Bouquet - Subtle hints of peach, rose petal and soft pepper on the nose
Taste - Dry, round and full of finesse. Surprisingly complex, with intriguing notes of raspberries, cherries, black olive and fennel.
Wine & Spirits 87 points - Light as air and fragrant with sour cherry fruit and tea-like herbal notes, this has the beach written all over it.
Colombo has turned to the vineyards of the blue coast near Marseille for the inspiration behind his Cape Bleue Rose. In a return to his roots, Colombo, a native of the area, produces this delicate, expressive Rose from this promontory of land overlooking the bay of Marseille. Known for its shimmering landscape this area of Provence has been captured on canvas by countless artists, most famously Cezanne.
